Visitor & New Member Ministry
Hospitality Committee
Dinner Bell
The visitor and new member ministry helps welcome visitors to St. Philips, make connections, and to enable folks to make St. Philips their church home.
Join a committee to provide Sunday hospitality in the parish hall after the 11 a.m. service. Individuals may sign up for a single coffee hour or volunteer for continuous service as needed for events.
St. Philips has partnered with First United Methodist Church (Sulphur Springs) at Dinner Bell, which seeks to end hunger in Hopkins County. Fresh, hot, nutritious meals are prepared by volunteers each Wednesday and served to guests in the church’s Fellowship Hall.
Daughters of the King
Daughters of the King are an order of lay and ordained women who desire a closer walk with the Lord by committing to a rule of life dedicated to prayer. The chapter at St. Philip’s meets weekly for prayer and to enjoy the companionship found in sisterhood.
